Oldest Track & Field Records

Patsy Walker’s 5’ 10” high jump set in 1976 is the oldest field event record in Thurston County History for girls. The oldest running record is Patsy Walker’s 14.42 in the 100-meter hurdles. Patsy is also second on the all-time 400-meter list with a time of 56.6 set in 1975. She went on to win the national collegiate championship in the Heptathlon and was on the USA WORLD HEPTAHLON TEAM.

Source data: Washington State High School Track & Field Annual 39th Edition. Thank you, John Sells, for your continued work on Washington State Track & Field records. Thanks to John Schultz for the hammer throw information.
