One Of The Greatest High School Athletic Achievements Of All-Time  From A Thurston County (in Washington State) Athlete Recently Happened

Every couple of decades or so, some high school athlete comes along who is world-class in your area's sport. We have two in our area now. Last year my pick for female high school athlete of the year soared to new heights, and so did her sister. Now it is the other sister's turn to share the spotlight.

The Moll sisters are amazing. Both went well over 14 feet in the pole vault last year, with Amanda taking the family lead at 14' 7.25. The sisters live in Olympia, Washington.

Well, they are at it again. Hana Moll has already gone 14'8 to take the family lead this indoor season! I will need to update the article from last spring below about Amanda and sister Hana. However, I will have to wait until after the outdoor season because I don't believe these two sisters are not done yet. Both are approaching 15 feet. Just wow.

Hana and Amanda are currently ranked 1-2 indoors in the United States for high school athletes in 2022.

I'll be updating the Pole Vault record in the Thurston County records today since Hana just broke her sister's record.

The Moll sisters are part of the Amazing NW Pole Vault Club, where they learn and hone their craft.
