Kenyan Runners Striving for the Olympic Trials

Morgan, Edward, and other training partners after qualifying for the Kenyan national track and field championships.

One of the Kenyan athletes who follows my workouts and trains with Edward Kemboi an athlete I coach remotely in Kenya, ( a two-time NCAA 800 champ who I train remotely in Kenya), Stephen Mutai, finished 5th in the Kenyan National Championships, two spots behind Timothy Cheruiyot, who finished second in the 1500 meters in the Toyko Olympic Games in 2021. Timothy is one of the best runners in the world this year.

I think Ed Kemboi and Morgan Shadrack two other Kenyans I coach are capable of running in this type of field. We will see how many of these guys get selected for the Kenyan Olympic Trials next week. Stephen Mutai and Evan Kosgei another 800 runner who follows my workouts are already in the trials next week.
